On June 5, 2025, Camden Art Shops hosted an unforgettable gala and exhibit reception for award-winning artist Jerry Fox Law. The free event, held from 5-7 p.m., drew art enthusiasts to celebrate Law’s vibrant work with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. The first 50 attendees received a signed print by the artist, adding a special touch to the evening.
Guests enjoyed great food and wine while meeting Law, whose talent for capturing beauty through intense, rich colors and impressionistic brushwork was on full display. Her loose, spontaneous florals, landscapes, and buildings captivated attendees, with her art available for purchase throughout June. Notably, Law recently earned second place in the Italian Themed Juried Art Competition, an exhibit that continues to be showcased on the second floor of the TenEleven Galleria Building until July 7, 2025.
About Jerry Fox Law
Hailing from Bishopville, SC, Jerry Fox Law is a distinguished artist with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Her illustrious career spans interior design for prestigious projects, including the Hermitage Hotel and Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN, as well as Marriott Hotels internationally. Honored as one of VCU’s 100 Most Notable Alumni in the School of Art, Law also won the Scalamandre Award for Historic Restoration from the American Society of Interior Designers.
Transitioning to painting, Law has studied with nationally acclaimed artists and earned numerous accolades, including first place at the South Carolina State Fair for her large portrait of topiary artist Pearl Fryar. Her community service includes chairing the restoration of The Lee County Opera House, designing exhibits for the South Carolina Cotton Museum, and serving as treasurer for the Friends of Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden for 14 years.
