The 2025 South Carolina Ag + Art Tour brought Kershaw County to life, and Camden Art Shoppes at 1011 Broad Street (TenEleven Galleria Building) was at the heart of it all! Held on a vibrant Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM, this free, self-guided tour—the nation’s largest farm and art event—drew 150-200 visitors to Camden Art Shoppes alone, celebrating the intersection of agriculture and artistry.
This year, Camden Art Shoppes showcased many artisans, all creating works inspired by Kershaw County’s rich farming heritage. The painted river walkway was a highlight, adorned with new agricultural-themed art that captivated guests. Sharon Funderburk’s Plein Air painting demos (Bob Ross style) and AG Artistry LLC’s stunning canvases stole the show, while Forrest Fortier’s felting demonstrations added hands-on charm. Visitors couldn’t resist snapping selfies at Funderburk’s unique Princess Chair prop or exploring Anne Marie Carraro’s Mobile Art Gallery display. From handmade items offered by Cat On A Limb, handmade lampshades by For the Love of Cavaliers to Beverly Anderson’s Natural Essentials’ medicinal teas, art lovers found treasures to take home, with class sign-ups also available.
The energy was electric as local farmers joined the event at Kershaw County Farmer’s Market down the street, offering fresh produce alongside additional creative displays. Face painting by a local artist added a playful touch, making the day a family-friendly celebration of Kershaw County’s culture. Beyond the market, the tour extended from Camden Art Shoppes, with stops like the Kershaw County Farmers Market, Arts Center of Kershaw County, Gorget Distilling Co., and Granny Creek Homestead, each blending local food, crafts, and rural traditions.
Since 2012, the Ag + Art Tour has welcomed over 150,000 visitors, and 2025 proved why it’s a must-visit. Camden Art Shoppes’ vibrant contribution set the stage for even bigger plans in 2026, including Art in the Park and more farm partnerships.
