March Showers, April Flowers Art Exhibition and Juried Competition at Camden Art Shoppes & 1011 Galleria Mall
A Celebration of Flowers in Art – from March 27 to May 4, 2025, the second floor of the 1011 Galleria bloomed with more than just seasonal beauty—it blossomed with artistic talent and floral inspiration. The March Showers, April Flowers juried art show brought together an exquisite collection of floral-themed artwork, carefully selected and judged for creativity, technique, and emotional impact.
Visitors to the exhibit were treated to a stunning display of florals in every imaginable form—lush oil paintings of peonies, delicate watercolors of wildflowers, and vibrant mixed media pieces that seemed to breathe with life. The show wasn’t just a feast for the eyes; guests also enjoyed Salud’s signature cocktails and appetizers as they wandered through the colorful gallery space.
The event, free and open to the public, offered easy access to the second floor via elevator, and visitors found the entrance just across from Salud’s kitchen. The ambiance was intimate, elegant, and filled with the quiet joy that only flowers—and fine art—can inspire.
Flowers in Nature and in Art
As the seasons shift, we’re reminded that flowers are not only fleeting miracles in nature but timeless subjects in art. They teach us about renewal, fragility, and joy. As Henri Matisse once said, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” And in this show, we saw them—in full, breathtaking bloom.
