Call to Artists
Art accepted in all media, 2D or 3D. The art must include fiber in the creation of the artwork. The art must be inspired by fairytales and/or nursery rhymes. Only one submission per artist. Art limited to 4ft by 4 ft. Artwork must be gallery ready to hang (d-ring and wire; no sawtooths). Quilts… will be hung with clips provided by the venue.
Take in is August 5, 10-12 on the 2nd floor 1011 Galleria. If you cannot make take-in, special arrangements can be made. Contact Sharon Funderburk. The art will be on display for sale August 7-Sept 23.
Fee is $20 for Camden Art Shoppes (CAS) member and $30 for non-members. To reserve your spot artists must purchase a ticket either on-line or at the shoppes. Word of Caution – Don’t wait till take-in to pay as space is limited.
Juried competition. The judge is a group of selected individuals. An artist and a textile expert will be part of the group.
Cash Prizes awarded. Reception is Aug 12, 2-4 pm to award winners.
Artists will receive 85% 0f art sales. 15% commission is due to CAS.

It is my intention to exhibit my artwork at 1011 Galleria through Camden Art Shoppes, LLC
- I understand that my artwork is in public areas of an event venue space that is unsupervised by Camden Art Shoppes.
- I release Camden Art Shoppes, LLC members, volunteer artists, and patrons from any liability for loss, theft or damage of artwork/frame.
- I understand it is my responsibility and choice to obtain personal insurance coverage for my art.
- I understand that all art sales will be handled between the buyer and Camden Art Shoppes. The artist will receive 85% of the sale and Camden Art Shoppes receives 15% of the sale.
- I agree to leave the artwork up for the duration of the show and will pick up artwork within 14 days after the closing of the show, unless arrangements are made.
- I understand that if I fail to abide by this agreement, Camden Art Shoppes, LLC, has the right to terminate this agreement with prejudice.
