Beginner to Intermediate Oil Painting (5 sessions) with Jeff.

Learn how to paint using oils in a 5 week (every Tuesday) series with Jeff Weese. He will teach the fundamentals of painting with oil from a blank canvas to a beautiful landscape. Costis $150 ($30/session). First session is Tuesday July 11, 6-9 pm Following sessions at the same time on 7/18, 7/25, 8/1 and 8/8.
Beginner or intermediate. Advanced welcome as well. 3 students min. Must register to secure a spot.
Supplies list
One Stretched canvas. (Cotton Duck or Linen). 16×20 is a good size. Oil Paints; Ultramarine Blue, Alizrine Crimsom or Any red, Cerulean Blue, Purple, Yellow Medium, Orange, Yellow Orchra, Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Bright Pink. 2 Rolls of Paper Towels. Wooden Palette. Easel, Odorless mineral sprits, Liquin. Brushes. Filberts, small , Medium and Large 1 or 2 inch. Small round brush for details and signing. Glass container with lid for mineral spirits.
If you are buying supplies for the first time, student quality paints are available at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. More opportunity for Professional quality is available at City Art downtown Columbia. If questioning which to buy, contact the artist and discuss.
