Did you know that 11/23 is National Expresso Day? What a great excuse to treat yourself to everything you love about coffee – including a great new mug (or two, or three) created by Debbie Asbill!
And yes, it’s true! All of her work is microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. And yes, it’s true – it’s quite difficult to pick a favorite. They are all beautiful!
About Debbie Asbill
One pottery class and my “inner-creative” was unleashed! After a 25 year administrative career in the legal field, I happily traded my business suits and high heels for a potter’s apron and crocs! As the granddaughter of a Kentucky coal miner and an Ohio farmer, it makes sense I would find such joy playing in dirt! Nothing makes me happier than a pile of clay spinning on my wheel while covered in mud up to my elbows. I have studied ceramic for 10 years under master potters in Edgefield, Columbia and Calabash, NC. I love creating functional yet decorative pieces for the home. I am blessed to be a mother and grandmother committed to God and my family. I am an outside girl, who shines with the sun. The beach is my happy place!
And how about this fun, fast read by Yvonne DeBandi?
