Lori Griggs' art journey began in 1973 with a bag of clay from Bethune Pottery. From that day on she was always creating something either in clay, paint, charcoal, or yarn.
She has a Bachelor's of Fine Art from Georgia Southwestern University and currently paints in oil both in the studio and en plein air.
Frequent subjects of hers are coastal South Carolina, flowers, and animals.
She currently lives in rural Chesterfield county with her husband Don and their sweet fur baby Pita. Her son Laz and his wife Henli live nearby while her daughter Eilish lives in California.
