Marti Wallace

Marti makes functional pottery in her home studio located in Camden. Her work is primarily wheel thrown, but Marti also enjoys hand building forms as well. The clay provides a canvas for a layer of slip that is then decorated with colorful slips and underglazes.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by family in this town I grew up in. Two of my three children are married, live in Camden, and have blessed me with two little grandboys!

Other than pottery, I enjoy traveling in my camper, being outdoors, knitting, and playing a little ukelele.

My goal is to put handmade objects into the hands of my customers that can be enjoyed on a daily basis. Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee or tea in a handmade mug.
