Valerie Hunter is the owner of Cat On A Lim LLC, where along with her mother Lucie Bergeron, they create jewelry items using all types of mediums including gemstones, resin, beads, wire and crochet items. Valerie has developed her own recipes for shower steamers in several fragrances for aromatherapy and designs beautiful pieces of jewelry. Lucie is a sewist who creates quilts, bags, purses and household items. They have both received blue ribbons at the SC state fair for their work.

Valerie's creative pursuits have included stained glass, copper work, enamel on copper, wire wrapping, resin and fiber arts. She includes that experience in the jewelry she creates, always looking to produce original pieces.
Valerie is the mother of 2 children and works full-time in the medical billing industry. She graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor's in Health Care Management.
She is also involved in the Girl Scout Movement as a leader of a group of teen scouts.
She has long been interested in the natural healing arts, has developed her own aromatherapy items and is an avid gardener.
She is a history buff, loves to travel, and experience new things. She also has an interest in the mysterious and macabre.
Lucie is a retired accounting professional who loves sewing, nature and family time.

Inspirations & Influences
Inspiration comes from nature, children life experiences and other artists. We have been influenced by the many great works we have seen in Europe which span different periods in time and cultures.

We have lived in Canada, Italy & the USA. Hobbies have included stained glass, woodwork and all types of needle arts.
